How does the custom rug ordering process work?
Our process is simple and transparent:
- Share your vision – Tell us size, colors, pattern, or upload a reference image via our Custom Order page.
- Get a free quote – We’ll calculate cost based on yarn, technique, and dimensions (no obligation).
- Approve design – Digital proof + physical yarn swatches sent for your confirmation.
- Handcrafted & delivered – Artisans weave your rug, quality checked, then shipped to your door.
Typical turnaround: 6–8 weeks for hand-knotted, 4–6 weeks for hand-tufted/hand-loom.
Can I see a digital preview before production?
Absolutely. Once we receive your requirements, our design team creates a digital mockup (color rendering) for your approval. We also offer free physical swatch samples so you can feel the yarns before finalizing.
Do you offer design assistance if I'm not sure what I want?
Yes! Our experienced designers can help you choose colors, patterns, and yarns based on your space, style preferences, and budget. Just share reference photos of your room or inspirational images – we’ll guide you.
What types of yarns do you use?
We offer a wide range of premium yarns:
- Semi-Worsted Wool – Durable, stain-resistant.
- New Zealand Wool – Luxuriously soft, resilient.
- Fine Blended Wool (Indian) – Warm tones, great value.
- Silk – High sheen, incredibly soft.
- Viscose – Silk-like luster at affordable price.
- Recycled Polyester (PET) – Eco-friendly, UV-resistant for outdoor.

Can I request physical swatches before ordering?
Definitely. We offer free physical sample swatches (up to 5 yarn types) shipped to your address. Just fill out our Sample Request page and we’ll send them within 3–5 business days.
Are your materials ethically sourced?
Yes. We work directly with wool cooperatives and yarn suppliers who follow fair trade practices. We strictly prohibit child labor and ensure fair wages for all workers. Our recycled polyester is made from post-consumer plastic bottles.
How much does a custom rug cost?
Pricing depends on several factors: rug technique (hand-knotted vs. hand-tufted), yarn type, size, knot density, and complexity of design. As a rough guide:
- Hand-tufted wool rug: ₹2,500 – ₹6,000 per sq. ft.
- Hand-knotted wool rug: ₹6,000 – ₹15,000 per sq. ft.
- Silk or viscose additions: additional cost.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept bank transfers (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS), UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe), credit/debit cards via secure gateway, and international wire transfers for overseas clients. A 50% advance is required to start production, balance before shipping.
Is there a deposit required for a quote or design?
No. Quotes, design consultations, and digital mockups are completely free. You only pay when you’re ready to proceed with production.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. We have experience shipping to USA, UK, Australia, UAE, Singapore, and many European countries. Shipping costs vary by destination and rug size – we’ll provide a clear quote before production.
How long does delivery take?
Production timelines:
- Hand-tufted / Hand-loom: 4–6 weeks
- Hand-knotted: 6–10 weeks (depending on density)
- Jute Braided / Outdoor: 3–4 weeks
Shipping adds 5–10 business days for domestic (India) and 10–15 business days for international.
Is shipping free?
We offer free shipping within India on orders above ₹25,000. For international orders, shipping is calculated based on weight and destination – we’ll share the exact cost before payment.
What if my rug is damaged during shipping?
Each rug is carefully rolled, wrapped in protective layers, and packed in a sturdy carton. In the rare event of damage, we’ll arrange for repair or replacement at no cost to you, provided you notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photos.
How do I clean my custom rug?
Regular maintenance: Vacuum gently (without beater bar) once a week. Rotate the rug every 6 months to ensure even wear.
Spot cleaning: Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth. Use mild soap and water – never rub.
Professional cleaning: We recommend professional dry cleaning every 1–2 years for wool/silk rugs.
Will the colors fade over time?
We use high-quality, colorfast dyes. However, direct sunlight can cause fading over years. We recommend using curtains or UV-protective window film to prolong vibrancy.
Do you offer repair services?
Yes, we provide repair and restoration services for rugs purchased from us. If your rug gets damaged (frayed edges, pulled knots), contact us and we’ll assess the repair cost – often covered under warranty for the first year.
